Research

Daycare and Poster Presentation

We use a range of data collection methods to generate meaningful, actionable insights for programs serving young children, their families, as well as community partners. By examining diverse program models, our research helps inform policy and practice at the local, state, and national levels. In addition, we investigate how different aspects of environments and experiences are associated with children’s developmental outcomes, including health, learning, and well-being.

Key projects in this area include the Oklahoma Advancing Indoor Environment Research (OK-AIR) initiative and the Children’s Environmental Health in the U.S. Southern Great Plains project, both of which focus on improving environmental conditions and promoting healthier, more supportive learning environments for young children.
